All about Grandma's Tea Party.
On Mondays at 6 PM, you are invited to Grandma's Tea Party. A tea party used to be a wonderful way to meet with people over tea and something delicious to eat, and share polite conversation and good, mostly mellow music. Lately, the Tea Party has come to be associated with a rather vocal and intractable segment of American politics, and there's not much civilized about it. I'm stealing it back! This Tea Party is just what it should be! I feature an album, although it's rarely a new one. And we have a little, usually very silly competition called six-in-a-half, in which you must figure out the link between six songs that I will play in roughly a half hour. (Timing is not my strong suit!) And lots of lovely music, which tends toward the folkish, mellow side, although occasionally we just need to throw open the windows and get down to some serious rock and roll! And you are invited to call in, using Skype, and tell us about what's going on in your world. Or perhaps to comment on something you've heard. If you do, you will be asked for a request at the end of the chat. So now, you can't say I didn't warn you!
