Hi, I'm Stewart and welcome to my page on Phoenix Radio 1208.
I started listening to offshore pirate radio in 1973 and this sparked a long-standing passion for me in radio. From 1984, I've broadcast and managed a number of radio stations in and around London, moving only relatively recently to presenting shows on internet radio.
My favourite groups and artists include the Doobie Brothers, the Eagles, Barclay James Harvest, America and Poco. I enjoy most musical genres with my favourite being classic rock but listen to everything from the 60s to the present day.
My hobbies include swimming, eating out, socialising, Watching TV with my favourite programmes being period dramas and crime. I also enjoy reading (my favourite fictional book is Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) and listening to documentaries about pirate radio.
I am looking forward to being part of the Phoenix Radio team and getting to know the listeners and presenters as well as sharing some great music and radio moments together.
