Mark Howlett (Bubba)

Hi, I'm Mark Howlett (Bubba) and welcome to my page on Phoenix Radio 1208.

I’m 48 years old and been Married to my wife Susan for 27 years; I have two grown-up children - my Son Daniel who is a Joiner and lives with his Girlfriend and his dog Molly the Beagle and my Daughter Rachael who is a beautician and lives at home with her Golden Retriever Ted.

I live in Berwick-upon-Tweed near the English/Scottish border but I grew up in Kent (Southern England). For a living I drive a delivery van having waved goodbye to the buses after 25 years!

I love music and have been doing my show Bubba’s Big Boombox Show for about four years on another station but have decided to join the awesome guys at Phoenix Radio 1208!! I grew up as a teen in the 80’s so this era has a big influence on me... My favourite artist is Seal but I love all kinds of music.
